We're seeking passionate, qualified trainers with a TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) to deliver hands-on, engaging training to youth at risk who are building pathways to employment and brighter futures.
About the Role
As a trainer, you'll deliver practical, industry-relevant training that connects young learners to real-world skills and job readiness. You'll work within a learner-centred framework to:
* Facilitate accredited and non-accredited training in automotive, marine, or engineering contexts
* Scaffold learning for diverse literacy and numeracy levels
* Embed employability skills, safety practices, and workplace expectations
* Support learners in developing confidence, purpose, and career direction.

You're a hands-on mentor who believes in second chances and the power of practical learning. You want your trade skills to make a difference, whether you're experienced, semi-retired, or simply ready for a new challenge.
You'll bring:
* Trade qualifications in automotive, marine, or engineering
* A current TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
* Experience or interest in working with youth at risk, disengaged learners, or those facing barriers to education
* Strong communication, patience, and a commitment to equity and inclusion
* The ability to adapt delivery, simplify instructions, and build trust
