Job Overview
We are looking for experienced professionals to join our Tax Dispute Resolution team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax, tax law and tax disputes, with a strong background in advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare clients for and resolve risk reviews, audits and disputes with revenue authorities, including complex ATO audits, objections and tax litigation.
* Develop written and oral advocacy skills and provide legal advice on taxation law and administrative law.
* Nationally collaborate with specialists across various groups to develop expertise in topical areas of tax law.
Your Experience
* Previous experience in corporate tax, international tax, tax law and/or tax dispute resolution and controversy is highly regarded.
* Able to establish stakeholder engagement, hold the role of an advisor to the business and be an expert on tax law.
* Strong interpersonal, influencing and project management skills, able to motivate and work in a high-performing team.
* Honest and ethical approach to business, aligning with our values.
* Australian and/or other Commonwealth country legal experience.
