Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Tax Accountant located in Toowoomba, QLD. The Senior Tax Accountant will handle tax compliance, tax preparation, and other tax-related matters. Additional responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing accounting tasks, and ensuring that all tax filings meet regulatory requirements. The individual will also collaborate directly with clients to provide strategic tax planning and financial advice that supports their business growth and success.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in tax compliance, tax preparation, and understanding of tax-related regulations
* Experience in accounting processes and preparing financial statements
* Strong knowledge of tax laws and accounting principles
* Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients and work collaboratively within a team
* A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* CPA or CA qualification is preferred
* Prior experience working in an accounting or tax advisory firm is essential
