Receptionist and Administrative Assistant – White Berman Ryder

White Berman Ryder is a busy law firm specialising in Family Law, Wills and Estates. We also do Conveyancing.

We are looking for a receptionist/administrative assistant who is friendly, hardworking and a team player to work in our Adelaide and/or Modbury offices.

In this role you will be the first impression of White Berman Ryder with our clients and the public, therefore impeccable personal presentation is essential. We encourage applicants with a confident, warm and friendly nature to apply.

We offer a great environment for someone who is eager to learn and be an important part of our small team. The role is busy, the tasks will be varied and no two days will be the same.

The duties will include reception, taking calls, greeting clients, making appointments, preparing invoices, receiving payments, banking, typing (including dictaphone typing), data entry, rounds, general office tasks and various other duties. You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from our legal secretaries, solicitors and other staff. Full training will be provided to the successful applicant.

The successful applicant will have an excellent telephone manner, confident verbal communication skills, experience with MS Office (Word, Outlook), and solid typing and IT skills. You will also need to be enthusiastic, energetic, have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and become part of our team.

Previous administration experience and/or a Certificate in Business Administration is preferred, but not essential. Experienced receptionists or legal secretaries, as well as school leavers, law students or graduates with great availability of at least 4 days per week are welcome to apply.

The role is 4-5 days Monday to Friday 8.45am to 5.15pm.

Salary will be commensurate with ability and experience.

A current driver's licence is required for rounds duties and to commute between our two locations.
