We are searching for an outstanding individual to join our Drafting and Design team.
Based in our state of the art HQ, on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. We are a family focused business who pride ourselves on our culture and core values of Honesty, Integrity and Transparency. As a member of our drafting team the expectation is that you have the required skills and qualifications for checking and modifying Master Revit drawings in line with AUSMAR’s guidelines, with 100% accuracy, within time targets, and in accordance with AUSMAR’s construction standards.
Reporting to the Drafting Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Create accurate sales plans and construction plans which incorporate house sitings, floor plans, elevation, internal drawings and slab layout.
* Problem solve by identifying issues arising due to visual, construction or designer restraints
* Respond to critical needs as identified by the Workflow team
* Interacting with multiple internal stakeholders including, sales, estimators, colour selection consultants and client liaison teams
* Liaise with your Manager to resolve any issues requiring technical or design involvement or clarification
* Check every job prior to issuing to ensure AUSMAR and Project standards and covenants are adhered to
* Ensure systems and data recording are continually updated to reflect the jobs progress within our workflow.

The successful candidate will have:
* Minimum 1 year experience within a similar role in a residential home construction company
* Revit drafting experience
* A sound understanding/knowledge of the construction process and current NCC and related construction practises
* The ability to work exceptionally well in a team environment and contribute to achieve project goals; and
* A GREAT ATTITUDE!!!
The Other Stuff:
* AUSMAR’S head office and showroom are based in Maroochydore, with on-site parking. Our operating hours are 7.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Thursday (with a 45-minute lunch break) and 7.30am - 12.30pm Friday.
