About the Role

This position entails creating and maintaining a sales-focused store culture, with the primary goal of delivering profitable sales growth. Key responsibilities include:

* Ensuring the execution of the sales-focused strategy through the implementation and embedding of coaching models and development frameworks.
* Actively driving, leading, and shaping a sales-focused culture through performance management, sales leadership, recruitment and onboarding, retention, communication, talent development, reward, and recognition.
* Ensuring a consistent positive store and channel experience for customers, as well as effective resolution of customer complaints and queries.
* Managing and monitoring financial performance through profitable sales, inventory management, and controllable expenses, including labor management.
* Developing knowledge and setting expectations to ensure all activities meet compliance and legislative requirements, particularly in regards to consumer law and safety.
* Upholding the brand image to the highest quality, including standards for visual merchandising, in-store marketing, and employee presentation.
* Establishing appropriate governance and management controls to ensure alignment of store activities with core policy and standard operating procedures.
* Building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and participating in community engagement and public relations activities.


About You

To excel in this role, you will require:

* Proven leadership of multi-site and/or large format retail businesses.
* Broad experience within retail, with knowledge across multiple areas of a store, such as sales, operations, or merchandising.
* Strong people leadership skills and experience managing large, complex teams across sales, merchandise, customer service, or operations.
* Commercially focused experience managing P/L and a range of store metrics.
* Relevant tertiary or equivalent qualifications.
* Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders across the business.
