SME Account Manager (Full-Time w Flexible Options) – Robina, Gold Coast
$60,000 – $75,000 per year based on experience
Watt Utilities is a family-owned energy procurement firm specialising in strata and commercial clients.
We are seeking a high-energy Small-to-Medium Enterprise (SME) Account Manager to nurture and grow our SME customer base.
Our success is built on exceptional customer service and our high-performing team. We offer this position on a permanent or part-time basis.
Responsibilities include:
1. Preparing accounts for tender and review
2. Maintaining accurate and timely records in CRM and file systems
3. Collecting usage data and bills, and verifying their accuracy
4. Reviewing offers and providing clear recommendations to get the best price
5. Managing client transfers between SME and C&I segments, retailers, etc.
6. Attending relevant industry and networking events
Success in this role requires:
1. Maintaining and growing a portfolio of SME energy clients
2. Educating clients on the value Watt Utilities provides
3. Guiding clients through every stage of the energy cycle
4. Building deep business relationships with all client contacts
Ideal candidates will:
* Be highly self-motivated and experienced in a high-tempo environment
* Have a strong customer service focus with a professional, friendly manner
* Possess a target-driven mindset and relationship management skills
* Be comfortable analyzing data, technical information, and conducting research
* Have excellent data entry skills with attention to detail
* Work well independently and in a team
* Communicate clearly in writing and verbally with clients and suppliers
* Be confident using CRM tools (Zoho is a plus), Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office
Experience in Account Management, SME or Commercial Energy, Strata, Body Corporate, or Procurement is valued but not essential.
