As CEO of Palliative Care WA, you will shape the future of services, advocacy, and community awareness to ensure every Western Australian has access to quality palliative care. About Palliative Care WA Palliative Care WA (PCWA) is the state’s respected peak body, working with community, government, and health providers to improve access to quality palliative care. Having experienced significant growth and consolidation, PCWA is now positioned to expand its influence, strengthen services, and support a sustainable future for palliative care and services across WA. The Role Reporting directly to the Board, the CEO will: Provide strategic leadership, advocacy and representation at state and national levels Strengthen partnerships and consult with various government, funders, sector partners, strategic alliances and the broader community Drive organisational growth, membership engagement, and new funding opportunities Ensure all budgetary, legal, contractual and statutory obligations are met Lead and inspire a small, committed team Champion PCWA’s vision and values across the community and health sector, contributing policy and sector development where appropriate About You We are seeking a values-driven leader who brings: Proven senior leadership and governance experience, reporting to a Board in a comparable organisation Strong customer focus, stakeholder engagement and advocacy capability Track record of building effective, multi-functional teams Knowledge of the health, aged care, or human services sector Integrity, resilience, and commitment to PCWA’s mission What We Offer Flexible leadership role (0.8 FTE) with salary negotiable Generous salary packaging to maximise take-home pay Opportunity to lead a respected peak body with strong networks and influence How to Apply You will be successful in this role if you have a robust track record of building successful teams, working collaboratively and developing strategic relationships internally and externally, ideally with strong industry networks.
