About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and safety focused Boilermaker / Welder to join our workshop team. Reporting to the Welding Manager, this role is responsible for supporting maintenance requirements and ensuring all fabrication / welding tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications for fabrication and welding
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, including GMAW, MMAW and other welding techniques
• Read and interpret engineering / schematic drawings
• Support daily workshop operations through effective communication and teamwork
• Operate fabrication machinery such as press brakes, saws, guillotines
About You:
• Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade
• Effective communication skills
• Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety
