About the Opportunity
We are currently on the lookout for experienced ILS practitioners to join our growing Defence team. These opportunities will see you contributing to complex Defence capability programs, helping shape and deliver support solutions across the full capability lifecycle from acquisition through to sustainment and disposal.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop and contribute to ILS strategies, documentation, and deliverables including ILSPs, LSA/LSAR outputs, maintenance plans, and provisioning data.
* Support the planning, analysis and implementation of logistics capabilities and infrastructure enhancements required to sustain ADF systems.
* Assist in the development and continuous improvement of ILS processes, tools, and methodologies aligned to Defence and CASG frameworks.
* Provide logistics input to Statements of Work (SoWs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Change Control Plans (CCPs) as required.
* Support the management of inventory, maintenance, and supply chain data within Defence systems such as MILIS or equivalent ERP tools.
* Participate in working groups, reviews, and stakeholder meetings, providing technical logistics advice and input into decision-making forums.
* Engage with project and sustainment teams to ensure integration of support considerations into capability planning and readiness activities.
* Contribute to training, transition and sustainment activities across assigned projects.
The Ideal Candidate
You will bring strong Defence logistics and sustainment experience, combined with the technical and analytical skills to optimise asset availability and supportability. You'll be collaborative, solutions-focused and comfortable operating within multidisciplinary Defence environments.
Essential Requirements
* Demonstrated experience in Integrated Logistics Support, logistics engineering, or sustainment within Defence or a Defence Prime environment.
* Working knowledge of Defence ILS frameworks, standards and policy (e.g., DEF(AUST) 5692, MIL-STD-1388, CASG processes).
* Experience using Defence systems such as MILIS, SAP, ERP or LSAR tools to manage inventory and support data.
* Proven ability to deliver logistics documentation and analysis across the capability lifecycle.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working with SPOs, OEMs or Capability Managers.
* Current or reinstatable NV1 Security Clearance (essential).
Desirable Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Logistics, or a related discipline.
* Familiarity with reliability, maintainability, and availability (RAM) analysis.
* Experience in obsolescence management, supply support or technical data management.
* Prior consulting experience within Defence or major project environments.
