THE ROLE
Powershift is a company driven by innovation and disruption – pushing the boundaries and finding smarter ways to solve existing challenges that will ultimately lead to better outcomes.
Bringing mobile battery technology into traditionally diesel-reliant industries requires a shift in how people think about temporary power. The status quo to resolve temporary power needs is a diesel generator – part of our mission is to shift this thinking towards Powershift battery solutions as smarter, cleaner, cheaper alternatives.
Key to achieving this mission is delivering exceptional technical service and support from pre-sales through to commissioning and across a customer’s hire term. The key purpose of this role is to ensure customers get a fit-for-purpose mobile battery solution to their temporary power needs that is backed by the best product, alongside quality service and support.
At a summary level, the Product Technician role entails:
- Working closely with battery OEMs to ensure products are built and/or delivered to agreed specification and standard;
- Supporting the pre-sales process with technical requirements, data gathering and analysis to ensure solutions scoped for customers are fit-for-purpose to their needs;
- Commissioning of battery systems with customers;
- Delivering exceptional technical service and support to all customers throughout their hire term, both remotely and in-person;
- Establishing Powershift as industry leaders and suppliers of choice for temporary power
