About the Role
This is an operations all-rounder position suited to someone with prior experience in freight forwarding and/or customs brokerage who is looking for hands-on involvement and long-term career progression.
You will be involved across import and export operations, customs processes, and general freight coordination, with exposure to international trade lanes while working within a locally managed Australian operation.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end import and export operations
* Liaising with shipping lines, airlines, transport providers, overseas agents, and clients
* Preparing, reviewing, and processing shipping and customs documentation
* Supporting customs clearance activities
* Monitoring shipments and resolving operational issues
* Data entry and system maintenance
* Experience with specific freight forwarding software systems required
* General operational support as required
About You
* Previous experience in freight forwarding and/or customs brokerage
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding and/or customs brokerage required
* Good understanding of import and export processes
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently within a small team
* Clear communication skills and proactive attitude
* Australian work rights required for this position
