Data and Application Manager Job Description
The Data and Application Manager is a newly created role that reflects the company's organic growth and enhanced focus on digitisation.
This key member of the IT team will be responsible for data management, reporting, applications development and maintenance in a low code environment. Additionally, they will lead and manage a small team of engineers.
This role requires an individual with a strong understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, including PowerBI, Azure, SQL, PowerApps, Snowflake, and experience working in a global organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Data management and reporting using PowerBI, Azure, and Snowflake
* Applications development and maintenance in a low code environment using PowerApps and Monday.com
* People leadership, mentoring, and management of a team of three
* Stakeholder engagement and management locally and globally

Requirements:
* Knowledge of business/operational systems and processes
* Experience in data management and reporting
* Experience with Snowflake and Microsoft application integration tools, PowerApps
* Proficiency in standard development tools including HTML, JSON, SQL etc.
* Experience in leading and mentoring a small team in a matrix organisation
* Strong communication skills and the ability to present at all levels of a leadership team
* An agile and flexible mindset, comfortable with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
This role is based in Greater Western Sydney and will require you to work on site at least 3 days per week.
