**About the Role**

As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of Account Managers focused on our Victorian clients. You will play a key leadership role guiding and managing a team of experienced sales professionals to service customers and grow the business. You will develop account retention and growth strategies as well as tactical sales plans for Enterprise & Government markets focused on customer retention and growing our customer base.

**Scope of the role includes**:

- Develop account retention and growth strategies as well as tactical sales plans for Enterprise & Govt markets
- Attract talent, lead, develop and manage a team of sales professionals to service our customers and grow our base.
- Develop growth strategies and tactical sales plans for the account management team to support growth/revenue retention in both the Enterprise & Govt markets.
- Research major sales opportunities and qualify viable and winnable sales
- Manage and retain the key senior relationships with our prospective clients.
- Meet required targets for Revenue, Margin and Unit sales.
- Encourage your team to continuously grow and build on their skills and experience to exceed current and evolving customer expectations & Canon revenue expectations
- Regular performance management reviews and the setting and review of objectives with team members.
- Manage a team of Account Mangers to retain customer and win new clients and associated support staff (sales coordinator)
- Work with internal departments such as the Marketing or Product teams to engage audiences and clients more deeply
- Complete and update quarterly a territory plan that allows for over achievement of targeted Revenue, Margin and Unit sales.
- Liaise with customers and the business to input to the development of the strategic sales plan to grow, meet and exceed sales and revenue targets and achieve profitable growth commitments across a number of product and service offerings.
- Increase share of wallet with customers. Grow installed base by executing on account plans.
- Communicate with marketing and inside sales for lead generation activities.
- Create dashboards and metrics to drive performance. Develop a high performing team.

**About you**

As someone with a proven leadership skills and a track record in maximising business opportunities with** **top tier Enterprise and Government Accounts, including identifying and securing new business you will enjoy leveraging your knowledge and experience of selling managed services and solutions and developing your people to achieve results. You are used to working autonomously but you know how to collaborate with stakeholders across the country to achieve outcomes for our business.

Your commercial acumen is second to none and you have a head for numbers and analytics and you have an eye for details when it comes to responding to detailed, complex tenders. Your previous experience of working with Victorian Enterprise organisations and Government agencies and your experience of leading sales teams will be highly regarded.
