Your Role
As an Electrical and Controls Engineer, you will:
* Design instruments for pressure, flow, level, and temperature measurement, including datasheets and loop diagrams.
* Specify and design control valves, including valve sizing and actuator selection.
* Select control system hardware, design system architecture, and develop functional specifications.
* Contribute to fire and gas detection systems and LOPA, HAZOP, and CHAZOP assessments.
* Perform hazardous area classification and relevant calculations.
* Participate in FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering (recognised by Engineers Australia).
* Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status (or substantial progress towards obtaining it).
* Strong technical expertise in Instrument and Control Engineering principles and practices.
* Proficiency in industry-standard software for detailed design tasks.
* Solid knowledge of Australian Standards, codes, and regulatory requirements relevant to Instrument and Control Engineering.
