As our Technology Trainer, you’ll help schools, businesses and partners confidently adopt CommBox products through engaging training, clear resources and ongoing support. Your work will directly influence product satisfaction, usage success and brand loyalty – making you a critical part of the customer journey.
What You’ll Do
Deliver engaging in-person and virtual training sessions to customers, educators, partners and internal teams
Create and maintain training resources – from guides and videos to e-learning content – aligned with product updates
Collaborate with Product and Customer Success teams to translate features into user-friendly education
Provide post-training support and tailored guidance based on customer needs and usage feedback
Lead onboarding programs for new clients and team members to ensure smooth product adoption
Represent CommBox as a product expert during live demos, webinars, and trade shows
Use data and feedback to measure training effectiveness and continually refine content and delivery
Support the development of scalable training programs and future certification paths
What You’ll Bring
3+ years’ experience in teaching, training, tech support or EdTech – you know how to empower others with tech
Strong knowledge of interactive touchscreens, AV/IT environments or digital learning platforms
Confident presenter and communicator – you're comfortable leading diverse groups both face-to-face and online
Ability to simplify complex concepts into relatable and actionable learning
Skilled in Microsoft 365, Teams, and common video or presentation tools
Organised, self-driven and happy to juggle multiple training requests with ease
Flexible with travel and scheduling – you’re ready to hit the road when needed
Bonus Skills That Set You Apart
Cert IV in Training and Assessment or similar adult education qualification
Experience training in education or enterprise environments using collaboration tech
Familiarity with LMS platforms (like Moodle) or tools like Articulate
Hands-on knowledge of CommBox, Promethean, SMART or ViewSonic screens
Basic video editing or content creation skills
Location & Reporting
Based in Sydney, with hybrid flexibility
Regular travel across Australia to support in-person sessions and events
Reports to the COO and Product Team
No direct reports – but you may mentor junior trainers or contractors
