We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Animal Care Specialist to provide exceptional care for cats of all breeds. The specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day well-being of our feline guests, ensuring their comfort, health, and happiness during their stay at our cattery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide daily care and attention to cats, including feeding, grooming, and administering medication as required.
* Maintain clean and hygienic living areas for cats, including litter box cleaning, sanitization of sleeping areas, and overall facility cleanliness.
* Monitor the health and behavior of cats, identifying any signs of illness or distress and promptly notifying management or a veterinarian.
* Interact and engage with cats through play, cuddling, and socialization to ensure they feel loved and comfortable during their stay.
* Assist with customer inquiries, reservations, and check-ins/check-outs, providing excellent customer service to cat owners.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience working with animals, particularly cats, in a professional or volunteer capacity is preferred.
2. Genuine love and passion for cats with a deep understanding of their behavior, needs, and care requirements.
3. Ability to handle cats with patience, compassion, and sensitivity, especially in stressful or unfamiliar environments.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both cats and humans.
