We are seeking an experienced Field Estimator to join our Sunshine Coast team, based out of our Warana office and servicing the broader region. In this role, you will be the vital link between our clients, trade network and internal project teams, ensuring accurate and timely assessments that support quality repair and construction outcomes.
About the Role
Due to the continued expansion of the company, a Field Estimator is required in the Sunshine Coast region. We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced person to join our dynamic team.
In this role you will:
* Attend site inspections across the Sunshine Coast region to assess and identify the cause of building damage, determine construction methodology and scope works.
* Effectively communicate with property owners, client representatives, and specialist trades to clarify requirements and set clear expectations.
Due to our business being heavily weather related and linked closely to major insurable events, travel is occasionally required as part of the role during these event times.
Our ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience in residential or commercial building estimating (insurance repair experience will be highly regarded).
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and trade rates.
* Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Confident communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Solid computer skills and experience with estimating or job management software.
* A current driver's license and Construction White Card
