Your role as a Home Lending Specialist (internally known as a Customer Relationship Manager) is to deliver an exceptional experience by working with customers to meet their end-to-end banking needs.

Whether guiding first home buyers to create a purchase plan or supporting seasoned investors, you'll play an integral part in helping our customers through the lending journey and driving growth.

In this dynamic and impactful role, you'll make your mark by:

1. Building a pipeline of lending leads: Keeping track of and nurturing these relationships throughout their buying journey using our CRM.
2. Guiding customers through the lending process: Providing peace of mind that we're here to help them achieve their goals.
3. Leveraging your credit analysis expertise: Ensuring positive lending outcomes for all and preparing customers for financial success.
4. Building strong, relationship-centric connections: Collaborating with the community, branch, and Branch Manager to deliver effective lending outcomes.
5. Embracing lifelong learning: Bringing your skills and enthusiasm; we'll support your career growth with on-the-job training and learning opportunities.
6. Building community connections: Supporting our customers, giving back, and making our communities better while having fun

This is a permanent, full-time position located in Pinewood, with a roster of 76 hours per fortnight.

What you'll bring to the role

To succeed, you should consistently deliver exceptional customer service. We'd love you to have:

- Extensive experience in customer service or sales
- A high level of understanding of lending products, policies, and regulations
- Ability to build relationships and rapport quickly, assess needs, and develop a holistic view of customer situations
- Highly developed credit analysis skills
- An understanding of small business offerings
- Consumer lending experience – this is essential
