About the Opportunity
A GP owned and operated mixed billing practice in the Box Hill South area is needing more unrestricted vocationally registered general practitioners to take over from a retired and retiring doctor. The traditional family practice has a very loyal patient base with a slightly older demographic requiring a lot of chronic disease management, so the ability to build long-term relationships with strong commitment to quality patient care is a must. Appointments are typically 15min long and GPs who wish to practice a special interest in skin cancer or cosmetic medicine are welcome to APPLY as the practice is set up and equipped for skin work. You will be part of a very experienced team of doctors who have a solid reputation in providing quality care to patients and their families from the local communities who have contributed to the growth of the practice through referrals. Shifts are very flexible with no regular evening or weekend work however the clinic operates on Saturday mornings so the option to work half a Saturday is there for those who want to, nursing and administrative staff are always on duty to assist.
Essential Criteria:
* MBBS or equivalent
* Must have a current and valid AHPRA GENERAL /SPECIALIST registration
* FRACGP qualified
* Medical Indemnity Insurance
