About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a trade background and hands-on experience in powerline and/or civil electrical projects. This role involves preparing detailed cost estimates, tender submissions, and supporting project planning for a variety of energy infrastructure projects, including estimating for our renewable energy projects, solar and wind farms.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop accurate cost estimates for electrical and civil infrastructure projects.
* Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
* Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to source competitive pricing.
* Support bid preparation and project budgeting.
* Collaborate with project managers and engineers to refine project scopes.
* Ensure all estimating work meets safety and quality standards.
About You
* Minimum 3+ years of experience in estimating within powerline or civil electrical construction.
* Trade-qualified or background in electrical or civil construction.
* Strong understanding of materials, labour, and subcontractor costs.
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
