The Role
We're seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Accountant to support the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of M3 Property's financial records using Business Central (Microsoft Dynamics).
You'll assist with monthly financial reports, balance sheet reconciliations, compliance with accounting standards and statutory obligations, and support budgeting, analysis and process improvement.
You'll also provide backup to AP/AR and contribute to audit preparation.
About You
CPA qualification (completed) and 3–5 years' accounting experience
Professional services experience at some point in your career (e.g., consulting, advisory, legal, engineering, property or similar)
Solid knowledge of IFRS/AASB and a practical ability to apply them in project/service-based environments
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Business Central, Jet Reports, Power BI (preferred)
Strong analytical skills, variance reporting and problem-solving ability, comfortable with large/high-volume data sets
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a hands-on, improvement mindset
What You'll be doing
Assist with month-end close (accruals, journals) ensuring accuracy and completeness
Deliver expense-to-budget analysis and manage Corporate P&Ls
Complete balance sheet reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly
Review the fixed assets register and support IAS, Payroll Tax and GST filings
Support payroll reconciliations and finance-related payments; provide EOFY reconciliation for payroll-related activities
Collaborate with stakeholders to drive process improvements and maintain clear process documentation
Contribute to audit preparation and coordination as required
