A typical client caseload at CPA includes working with people living with Cerebral palsy and similar conditions, the majority (>70%) being ages 0-18. Therapists will work across a breadth of diagnoses, ages, disability types, custom moulded seating, high‐tech AAC, early intervention, and complex mealtime management.
The Port Macquarie clinic is well‐resourced with 4 specialist treatment rooms, pool cars, ceiling hoists, eye‐gaze technology, a magic carpet, a wide selection of toys, a full switch kit, and a wheelchair scale. Approximately 70% of clients are seen in clinic; we also serve clients in homes and community settings on a regional outreach model covering Port Macquarie, Wauchope, Taree, Forster, Kempsey, and Coffs Harbour.
Port Macquarie offers a rural feel with access to all necessary resources, lower property costs compared to other coastal towns, and minimal traffic or commute challenges.
