As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Payroll
* Prepare Australian payroll in Xero.
* Facilitate preparation of overseas payrolls with external advisors, including USA (via ADP), New Zealand, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, and the UK.
* Work closely with internal teams to capture payroll changes.
* Address payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
* Ensure compliance with payroll-related tax returns (superannuation, payroll tax, Workcover, etc).
* Research and analyse exit terms/costs.
* Process payroll-related journals.
* Collaborate with regional external partners to prepare tax-related reports.
2. General Accounting Support
* Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
* Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
* Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and efficiencies.
