The Role We are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to lead new client acquisition, build strategic client partnerships and drive sales growth across our key industry sectors. You will implement sales strategies, manage the sales pipeline and work closely with internal teams to support our continued business expansion. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve business development targets across Construction, Warehousing, Logistics, Aviation, Manufacturing and Engineering sectors. Identify, prospect and secure new corporate clients through business development activities including client meetings, needs analysis, proposal development and contract negotiation. Build, manage and grow long-term relationships with key clients to ensure retention, repeat business and client satisfaction. Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, monitor KPIs, and provide regular sales performance reporting to senior management. Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and refine sales approaches and pricing strategies. Collaborate effectively with internal teams including recruitment, operations, compliance and payroll to ensure smooth service delivery and client expectations are met. Promote the company’s brand, service capabilities and industry expertise to enhance market presence and generate new business leads. Ensure all business development and sales activities comply with Australian workplace laws, industry regulations and company compliance policies. About You Diploma or higher level of education. 5 years of proven experience in business development, sales or account management. Those with solid understanding of the construction, logistics, manufacturing, or engineering sectors, is highly preferred. Demonstrated track record of securing new clients, managing key accounts and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment. Strong experience in developing and implementing effective sales strategies and managing end-to-end business development processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Self-motivated, target-driven and organised with the ability to prioritise and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, trusted client relationships.
