We are currently seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor at The Reef Hotel Casino, the pre-eminent centre for gaming, entertainment, food and accommodation in Cairns.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to lead a team of hospitality professionals who are committed to providing exceptional customer service in Tamarind, our signature restaurant and one of the only two-hatted restaurants in Cairns.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise the Tamarind dinner operations including overall quality, service and team performance.
* Work closely with the staff to ensure guest satisfaction by training, coaching and developing the team.
* Provide our guests with a first-class dining experiencing in our signature restaurant.
* Provide professional drinks and table services to our guests, ensuring total customer satisfaction.
* Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, ensuring presentation of high-quality product.
* Adhere to operational standards and procedures.
* Ensure accurate cash and credit card transactions.
Criteria
* Recent, relevant experience as a Restaurant Supervisor.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Computer literate, Micros an advantage.
* Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for exceeding guest expectations.
* Supervise and motivate your team.
* Take responsibility for training and maintaining a happy team.
* Set the venue promptly and accurately to the specifications described.
* Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety and the ability to follow policy and procedures.
* Understand procedures to handle all equipment with care to minimise possible breakages and personal injury.
* Ensure all Food & Beverage requirements are delivered on time and to the service standards as set by the property.
All Food and Beverage applicants are required to possess a current Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol Attainment Certificate.
