Financial Accountant role at Lovisa Pty Ltd.

The Financial Accountant is responsible for providing effective and accurate financial support to the business by maintaining operational expenses, balance sheet reconciliations and the related accounting functions.
Responsibilities
* Preparation of general journals and accruals with supporting documentation
* Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and related follow up
* Investigation into reconciling items and analysis of general ledger balances
* Review of weekly payment runs
* Preparation of GST/VAT returns and management of related queries
* Assisting with audit and other statutory related queries
* Ad-hoc financial investigation and analysis as required
* Adherence to month end and other regulatory timelines
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor of Commerce/Business or other related discipline
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment
* Thorough reconciliation experience and strong technical accounting skills
* Understanding of accounting standards, regulations and guidelines as they apply to the role
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to analyse financial information
* Experience in the use of finance systems (Oracle would be advantageous)
