About The Role
Reporting directly to the Service Deli Manager, this role will assist with the day-to-day running of the store's service deli to ensure smooth operation of the department and its team. If successful, you will assist with managing and coaching the team, completing production, actioning orders, generating rosters and more.
Working as part of an enthusiastic team in a highly competitive supermarket environment, you will be expected to demonstrate:
Fresh food retail knowledge is preferred, but not essential
Ability to supervise a team
Understanding of ordering, cost control and gross profit
Accurate team member rostering
Hands-on approach with passion and enthusiasm

Excellent communication skills
Ability to liaise with both team members and management
