PR Projects (PRP) is seeking a 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice for an exciting placement at the Limestone Coast Energy Park in South Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience on a major renewable energy infrastructure project while completing your apprenticeship. Working on one of Australia’s emerging renewable energy developments, you will gain exposure to large-scale electrical infrastructure, renewable energy systems, and high-voltage environments, supporting experienced electricians and project teams on site. Location: Mount Gambier About the Role As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work alongside qualified electricians assisting with installation, maintenance, and commissioning activities across the project. Your duties may include: Assisting electricians with electrical installations and commissioning Cable installation, cable tray work and termination support Fault finding and testing activities Reading and interpreting electrical drawings Maintaining tools, equipment and safe work practices Working in accordance with WHS procedures and site safety requirements About You To be successful in this role you will have: Currently in 3rd or 4th year of a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician Experience working on commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects (Preferred) Ability to work in a team environment on a large construction site Current White Card Driver’s licence and reliable transport Willingness to work in a regional project environment Must be based locally or within the Limestone Coast region (no FIFO/DIDO) Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident What We Offer Opportunity to work on a major renewable energy project Mentoring from experienced industry professionals Exposure to utility-scale electrical infrastructure Competitive apprentice rates under the Electrical Award Potential pathway to ongoing work in the renewable energy sector
