The role
The Senior Lead, Change Capability & Communications plays a critical role in ensuring organisational change is well‐designed, well‐communicated and successfully adopted across the Office of Sport. You will lead the development and implementation of change frameworks, tools and plans that support employees to adopt new behaviours, processes and technologies. The role drives consistency in change delivery, uplifts capability across leaders and champions, and provides a whole‐of‐program view of readiness, impacts and engagement.
Responsibilities
* Establish and embed change management tools, techniques and methodologies across programs.
* Design and deliver training for people leaders and change champions to uplift capability and support successful change adoption.
* Lead change delivery activities including analysis, planning, readiness assessments, communications, engagement materials and program‐level reporting.
* Roll out change evaluation tools, including impact assessments and evaluation of actual change outcomes.
* Provide governance and guidance to sponsors, leaders and champions on the use of change tools and reporting expectations.
* Develop strategies to support adoption of change management techniques across impacted areas.
* Partner with Communications Leads to design, implement and monitor program communications strategies.
* Support organisational design, ways of working, communications artefacts and employee training to enable successful program implementation.
About You
You are an experienced change professional with deep knowledge of change management principles, tools and methodologies, and a track record of supporting complex, enterprise‐level programs. You bring strong project management capability, advanced analytical thinking and the ability to influence and negotiate across diverse stakeholder groups.
You excel at building capability in others, coaching leaders and champions, and navigating competing priorities with resilience and composure. You communicate with clarity, collaborate effectively, and design practical solutions that support sustainable change outcomes.
