Senior Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to join our team as a Senior Centre Director in the Pascoe Vale area. This is a full-time, ongoing position that offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development.
The role involves overseeing the operational side of our small long daycare service, working closely with the pedagogical leader and area manager to build a culture where all staff want to collaborate and succeed. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with the managing director to develop new plans and approaches.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of mentoring and team management, as well as thorough knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and compliance. You will also need to have sound financial reporting skills, experience with budgeting and payroll, and the ability to build strong partnerships with families.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Early Childhood or Diploma in Children Services (MUST BE ACECQA recognised) and a minimum of 2-4 years full-time experience as a centre manager or higher in a small to medium size service. You will also need to have current WWCC or VIT, updated First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma training, and a high level of written and verbal communication.
