Department for Health and Wellbeing – Digital Health SA – Clinical Information System (CIS)
Salary: $130,190 to $136,010 – RN/M3 – Full Time / Term Contract up to 12 Months
Overview
Employees classified at this level use their clinical knowledge and experience to provide corporate support services to nursing/midwifery practice, which may include but are not limited to education, training, learning experiences and materials related to Clinical Information Systems (CIS).
Employees classified at this level accept accountability for the outcomes of nursing/midwifery education practices, for addressing inconsistencies between practice and policy, and for contributing to a safe and positive work culture in the interest of patient/client outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Provide education and training support to specific wards/units/service/community programs and/or specific nurses/midwives.
* Provide education support within a specific education and/or training portfolio.
* Coordinate and lead projects, programs and/or research to achieve improved educational outcomes and/or service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
* Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Current practicing certificate or eligibility to hold one.
Special Conditions
* Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
* Criminal History Screening Requirement: A National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required (general employment).
* Immunisation Risk Category C (minimal patient contact) – must comply with the Addressing Vaccine Preventable Disease: Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
