We are seeking a versatile, experienced blaster / surface finisher to join our growing team for an immediate start. This role is critical to supporting our ongoing projects and ensuring we continue to meet the needs of our valued clients while delivering on our expanding pipeline of work.
The Role
This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Eton facility. The role operates on a day-shift roster, with the potential for additional hours. You will be involved in a diverse range of tasks, spanning from small individual blast components through to complete heavy earthmoving equipment blast & paint projects.
Requirements
· Minimum 3 + years of post-trade experience
· Experience with surface preparation & high build epoxy finishing
· Cert III Engineering – Fabrication (Surface Finishing) advantageous.
· QA process and reporting experience advantageous
· Must maintain an impeccable attention to detail
Responsibilities
· Follow all safety guidelines and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.
· Perform a wide range of blast, surface preparation and finishing tasks
· Contribute to various projects, working both independently and as part of a team.
· Handle QA processes and reporting, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
· Maintain a high level of housekeeping
· Training & mentorship of apprentices & other team members
