Introduction; We are seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor with mining experience to join a major iron ore project. FIFO ex-Perth with flexible rosters: 8:6 for Operations and 4:3 or 5:2 FIFO for the Studies Department. You will support environmental compliance, approvals, auditing, and risk management across both active operations and project studies, working closely with site and studies teams to ensure regulatory and internal standards are met. About this role; As the Environmental Advisor, you'll provide critical support in ensuring compliance with environmental approvals, conducting audits, monitoring risk, and proactively managing environmental performance. You will work closely with operations and studies teams to maintain high environmental standards and meet regulatory obligations. Duties: Review current approvals and identify compliance or environmental risk issuesPrioritise high-risk areas for audits or further investigationSupport and participate in internal and external environmental auditsComplete four LUC (Land Use Compliance) audits per financial yearProvide guidance on environmental approval conditions and complianceAssist in environmental monitoring, inspections, and incident investigationsContribute to environmental surveys across exploration and operations areasDevelop and deliver toolbox talks, SWIs, and environmental trainingReview and provide feedback on environmental management plans and documentationCommunicate environmental outcomes and improvement actions to wider teams Is this you?
