GT BUILDERS – NOW HIRING Qualified Carpenters Immediate Start Available Pay: A$75,000.00-A$80,000.00 per year GT Builders is a well-established family-owned construction company founded in Darwin, Northern Territory in 2000. With over 50 years of combined industry experience, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction and development projects across both urban and remote areas with a wide range of construction services. Due to ongoing business growth, GT Builders is currently seeking to urgently recruit additional skilled trade workers to support increasing operational demands and upcoming projects in NT.
Position
* Reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and project plans to determine material requirements and construction details for GT Builders projects.
* Selecting and preparing timber, framing materials, and other construction supplies required for residential, commercial, and remote building works.
* Measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing timber and structural building materials for construction and finishing works on site.
* Carrying out wall framing, roof framing, flooring, sub-floor, fix-out, and formwork activities in accordance with project specifications and building requirements.
* Installing roof sheeting supports, external cladding, cast-in items, door frames, window frames, façade components, and other structural building elements.
* Assembling and installing timber structures, fittings, framework components, anchor channels, plates, and bolts across various GT Builders developments.
* Performing timber jointing, fitting, and finishing works to ensure structural accuracy and quality workmanship.
* Carrying out formwork activities in accordance with project specifications and building requirements.
* Follow WHS procedures and contribute to a positive team culture.
Requirements:
* Relevant AQF Certificate III or AQF Certificate IV.
Alternatively, at least 3 years of relevant full-time (or part-time equivalent) work experience.
* Must be dependable, hardworking, and able to work effectively within a team.
* Skilled in using carpentry tools and equipment
* Knowledge of WHS requirements and safe work practices
