Job Summary
In this role, you will assist in the performance of office services functions, such as space allocation, staff meetings, catering, office moves, facility operations, security and access control, telecommunications, mail and shipping, messenger service, travel, office supplies, and furniture and equipment.
Your knowledge of the office space will ensure unanticipated circumstances are successfully addressed.
Major Responsibilities
Perform the daily activities of office services functions, such as space allocation, office moves, facility operations, leasehold improvements, renovation activities, security and access control, food services management, reproduction, telecommunications, mail and shipping, messenger service, travel, office supplies, furniture and equipment, and miscellaneous services.
Participate in the development of new or improved systems and procedures to improve or maintain the quality of office services functions.
Schedule work activities, monitor schedules, and maintain necessary logs.
Contribute to work process improvements.
Maintain awareness of developments in equipment, software applications, technology, and processes related to applicable service area(s).
Provide guidance to others.
Facilitate move processes.
Order project or department supplies/stationery and maintain supply cabinet.
Education and Experience Requirements
Requires a minimum of 4-6 years of related experience.
Associate degree or related technical training preferred.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Good oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of automation systems used in areas of responsibility.
Ability to budget and schedule.
Effective interpersonal skills.
