The Opportunity
We are seeking two enthusiastic Immunisation Nurses to join our team. These roles require individuals who can work both independently and collaboratively, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse families, communities, and professionals.
Applicants must hold current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and be accredited as a Nurse Immuniser in Victoria. Experience in community immunisation programs and secondary school immunisation programs is highly desirable, along with availability to work evenings. The role involves setting up and packing up at immunisation sessions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Administer vaccines with informed consent to infants, children, adolescents, and adults during immunisation sessions.
2. Provide pre- and post-immunisation advice and care to parents, guardians, and adult clients.
3. Transport and manage vaccine storage, observing correct cold chain procedures.
4. Manage sharps and immunisation waste safely and according to guidelines.
5. Accurately record and collate data for medical records.

About You
To succeed, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse
- Current accreditation as a Nurse Immuniser
- Training in emergency CPR and First Aid
- The ability to obtain an Employee Working with Children Check
