Seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our clinical team. This part-time opportunity is ideal for those who can commit to a minimum of 42-45 hours per fortnight.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality clinical care to residents in their designated area, ensuring their health and well-being are maintained at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing quality clinical care to residents in line with our Model of Care
* Checking medication and undertaking medication rounds as required
* Engaging with families and other stakeholders to build relationships and trust
* Supporting new admissions with care and sensitivity while following our admissions pathway
* Conducting resident assessments, care planning, and evaluations as required
* Demonstrating leadership in maintaining infection control, manual handling, and care provision principles
Essential Requirements
* Bachelor of Nursing with full AHPRA registration (no restrictions)
* Post Graduate experience (preferred 3 years)
* Up-to-date qualifications in First Aid and CPR
* Demonstrated clinical assessment skills
* Ability to mentor and lead others
* A warm and empathetic approach
* Comprehensive clinical knowledge of the ageing process and health
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable Requirements
* An Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) certificate
* Experience working in Aged Care
* A current National Police Certificate (or willingness to apply)
