Nepean Hospital is a teaching hospital that provides tertiary referral services in emergency care, coronary care, diagnostics, gynaecology, paediatric, neonatal intensive care/ICU, maternity, mental health, rehabilitation, and surgery. The Nepean Campus has recently experienced tremendous growth and aims to support communities within and outside of Sydney’s western suburbs, providing world-class clinical facilities, services, and care.

You will play a key role in the planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting of the Pain Physiotherapy service, helping to shape its direction and effectiveness.

As part of the multidisciplinary team, you will participate collaboratively in clinical and team meetings alongside nursing, medical and allied health colleagues. You will also provide consultancy support to stakeholders within the district's clinical network and, when required, to external partners, offering expert guidance on the management and outcomes of complex or challenging pain presentations. Additionally, you will contribute to strategic development and service planning for Pain Management Physiotherapy, working closely with the Department Head of the Nepean Pain Unit to implement initiatives that enhance service quality and patient care.

This position is temporary for two days per week until April 2027. Contract extension may be provided. If this sounds like the right environment for you and the opportunity inspires you, we encourage you to apply now.
