Jadestone Energy are currently seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to join the Supply Chain & Logistics team based in the Perth Office. The purpose of this role is to ensure the effective inventory management of materials across our operations in consultation with key stakeholders. This includes all inventory cataloguing and classifying of materials to effectively manage all inventory.
About The Role
Key responsibilities include:
* Act as the central point of contact for all inventory storage and holdings.
* Consolidate inventory data from all locations into a central database.
* Visit storage sites to conduct physical counts and verify stock accuracy.
* Meet inventory reporting obligations, including requirements from Finance, internal audits, and external audits.
* Participate in inventory audits and scheduled cycle counts.
* Apply a practical, accurate, and hands‐on approach to day‐to‐day inventory control.
* Manage material cataloguing and classification, including identification and handling of obsolete spares.
* Provide inventory management expertise during ERP selection and implementation projects.
* Develop, maintain, and document stock audit processes, particularly for cyclic stocktaking.
* Promote consistent, sound practices in storage, handling, and preservation of materials to reduce operational risk.
To be considered for the role
* Minimum of 5 years previous experience in inventory control.
* Resources industry experience, preferable.
* Familiarity with inventory management systems.
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate well with others.
* Planning skills to manage and prioritise work load.
* The ideal candidate will be self‐motivated, with a solutions focused attitude to working within a fast paced environment.
