Ausnorth Building & Construction are construction professionals operating in the Insurance Building Repair & Home Modification sectors across 5 states. Currently we're seeking a talented & flexible individual with exceptional people skills & strong construction experience for the Central Queensland region.
About the role
You'll be responsible for engaging with Customers who require building reinstatement work on their properties, the majority of work in the $0 - $75k price bracket.
You will work closely with your own dedicated project administrator, plus utilise an existing dedicated trade network for Make Safes & Specialist Reports.
The role comes with a great work / life balance with the flexibility to work from home as well as attending multiple sites.
Key responsibilities
* Conduct onsite assessments of insured properties to determine damage / scope.
* Identify the difference between insurance related damage & maintenance.
* Create detailed & accurate assessment reports, scopes of works & quotes.
* Ensure all work conforms to legislative & contractual requirements.
* Maintaining excellent communication with Property Owners throughout.
* Maintain & update progress of jobs.
* Complete QA inspections.
Your Skills:
You have experience as an Insurance Estimator / Supervisor. You're a self-motivated team player with a positive can-do attitude who enjoys working autonomously.

* Neat & tidy & professional presentation
* Be familiar with OHS practices, legislation and regulations
* An eye for detail and quality
* A positive "can do" work ethic
* Computer literate with knowledge in the use of Outlook & Word.
* Preferably you have worked within the PrimeEco computer system
* Current & valid driver's licence
Preference for applicants who have previous experience working within the Insurance Industry.
