Role Description
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Project Support & Guidance:
* Serve as a key financial advisor, providing expert project support and guidance to project managers and teams for upcoming initiatives.
* Assist in monitoring project budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial governance standards.
* Provide accurate and insightful financial reporting and analysis to senior management, highlighting performance against budget and forecasting future resource needs.
* Actively assist with the management of IT contracts and procurement processes.
* Apply established financial policies and procedures, providing specialized financial expertise to ensure all activities comply with relevant SA Government legislation, regulations, and reporting requirements.
Essential Criteria:
* Proven Experience in SA Government: Candidates must demonstrate prior experience in a similar finance and/or contracts role within the South Australian Government environment or similar, possessing a strong understanding of relevant frameworks and processes.
* Contract Management Skills: Demonstrated practical experience assisting with the administration and management of a diverse range of contracts, with exposure to IT contracts highly regarded.
* Financial Acumen: Strong capability in financial analysis, budgeting, and detailed financial reporting.
