Position Summary
The Head of Golf is responsible for the leadership, growth and commercial performance of the golf operations at Clifton Springs Golf Club.
This role has a strong focus on driving revenue, increasing participation, enhancing member and visitor experience, and positioning golf as a core commercial pillar of the Club.
Key Responsibilities
Golf Business Development
· Develop and implement a Golf Business Development Plan to align with Club strategy.
· Drive growth in membership, green fee revenue, corporate golf and events.
· Identify new revenue opportunities.
· Build relationships with corporate partners and community groups.
· Support marketing initiatives and pricing strategy.
Commercial Performance and Revenue Management
· Manage and grow golf-related revenue streams.
· Monitor participation and performance.
· Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
· Optimise tee sheet utilisation.
Golf Operations Management
· Oversee Pro-Shop and golf bookings.
· Ensure professional daily golf operations.
· Maintain operational standards.
Leadership and Team Management
· Provide leadership and direction to the golf team.
· Foster a high-performance culture.
· Support recruitment and development of staff.
· Provide coaching and performance feedback.
Membership Growth and Engagement
· Support retention.
· Improve member satisfaction.
