Sodexo is looking for a driven, results-oriented professional to lead growth, secure new contracts, and strengthen relationships with existing clients in the Energy & Resources segment.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities for the Energy & Resources segment.
Build relationships and engage the right people within client organisations to develop a clear picture of their business and upcoming projects.
Create and develop key partnerships with clients, prospects, investors, suppliers and other industry stakeholders.
Provide high-level market intelligence using a systematic and value-based approach.
Identify and develop organic growth opportunities within existing contracts in partnership with internal stakeholders.
Prepare, present and manage responses to tenders and proposals to achieve new business development objectives.
Assist in the development and implementation of strategic business plans and key initiatives.
Identify, test and refine new products and concepts and market these innovations.
Prepare financial and commercial proposals compliant with group policies.
Maintain ongoing client and internal relationships through the project life cycle to support the "clients for life" philosophy.
Ensure the establishment and growth of the Sodexo brand.
Qualifications
Proven services sales experience within Mining, Energy, Oil & Gas or related industries.
Degree or postgraduate qualification in Business, Marketing, Technical or a related commercial discipline.
Excellent negotiation skills and a track record of successful new business pitches.
Active participation in industry associations, conferences and seminars.
Experience implementing and utilising business processes.
Experience managing complex tenders.
Strong commercial and financial acumen.
Ability to understand a prospect's condition through questioning and active listening.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; experience with SalesForce or similar CRM.
