About the Role
As Branch Manager, you\'ll lead the smooth and efficient running of the entire branch, covering customer service, sales support, warehouse operations, team leadership, and WHS compliance.
You\'ll play a key role in:
* Driving sales growth and supporting major customer accounts
* Leading and developing office and warehouse teams
* Ensuring strong customer relationships and service standards
* Managing stock, logistics, and warehouse processes
* Maintaining a safe, compliant and well‐organised work environment
* Championing continuous improvement across the branch
This is a hands‐on leadership role where your decisions directly influence branch performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all daily branch operations including customer service, profit and loss, and financial activities
* Support the sales team on major accounts and lead initiatives that contribute to revenue growth
* Handle customer enquiries, sales orders, invoicing, and escalations
* Coordinate communication between office and warehouse teams for seamless operations
* Oversee warehouse activities: stock control, receiving, dispatch, and quality checks
* Maintain high standards of workplace health and safety across the site
* Lead, mentor, and motivate the warehouse team alongside the Warehouse Supervisor
* Identify and implement efficiency improvements and process enhancements
* Manage administrative tasks such as payments, delivery planning, and freight bookings
Skills & Qualifications
Essential
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
* Current Australian Manual Driver\'s Licence
* Current Forklift Licence
* Basic First Aid Certificate (can be employer‐funded)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proven leadership and analytical thinking
* Experience with WHS standards and compliance
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and branch financials
Desirable
* Experience with sales or CRM software
* Current MR Truck Licence
* 2+ years in a relevant leadership or management role
