We are seeking a high-performing Technical Business Analyst to join our team in Hobart, Tasmania. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of business transformation projects, including requirements analysis, testing activities, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Understand and define business requirements, including discovery, documentation, process flows, use cases, test and training plans.
* Evaluate existing business processes and identify opportunities for re-engineering and automation.
* Recommend strategies for the application of new technologies.
* Establish acceptance criteria with clients and develop test processes and artefacts.
* Participate in implementation strategies and contribute to system analysis, data analysis, and solution design.
Requirements
* Excellent consulting skills and high-level stakeholder management experience.
* 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst/Systems Analyst or related role in the ICT sector.
* Experience in technical writing/documentation, including use case and functional/technical requirements definition, process flows, screen designs, HLD/technical designs, and specifications.
* Experience in testing, ideally in planning and leading programs.
* Familiarity with modern data and reporting technologies.
* Solid understanding of application development principles, including the SDLC, testing, and data fundamentals.
* High-level analytical, investigative, and critical thinking skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
