Job Summary
A proactive team member is required to perform preventative maintenance and calibration on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. This includes diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and preparing tooling and hire jobs for dispatch.
The ideal candidate will possess a mechanical background or strong aptitude for troubleshooting, as well as excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
This role involves working independently and collaboratively, with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn. A full working permit in Australia is also required.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to ensure equipment is site-ready
* Prepare tooling and hire jobs for dispatch to clients
* Manage workshop inventory, including packing, unpacking, and stock control
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to our Quality Management System
* Keep the workshop clean, organised, and running smoothly
* Support your teammates and contribute to a positive team culture
Requirements
* A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
* Mechanical background or strong aptitude for troubleshooting
* Full working permit in Australia
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Basic computer proficiency
* Familiarity with safety protocols
* Technical certification (preferred but not essential)
* Valid driver's license and forklift license (or willingness to obtain)
* Willingness to travel locally as needed
* Ability to pass medical checks, drug and alcohol screenings, and site inductions
