Grafton Mazda, a trusted and family-owned Mazda Dealership in the heart of the Clarence Valley, is growing our service team. We are looking for a motivated and qualified Automotive Technician who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a supportive, professional workshop.
Whilst this role is ideally fulltime, we are happy to consider part-time or casual agreements for the right person.
About the Role
As a valued member of our service department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional service to our customers, with a strong focus on Mazda vehicles.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Diagnosing, servicing, repairing and maintaining a range of vehicles
* Using modern diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues
* Completing all work to manufacturer standards and safety requirements
* Test driving vehicles to confirm concerns have been accurately addressed
* Maintaining accurate service and repair records
* Working closely with the Service Manager, advisors, and workshop team
* Assisting and mentoring apprentices to support their skills development
* Keeping up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair methods
About You
You are a qualified technician who enjoys problem-solving and working as part of a team
Essential requirements:
* Completed Australian Automotive Apprenticeship or equivalent
* Trade Certificate as a qualified Automotive Technician
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Current Australian driver's license
Highly regarded but not essential:
* Pink slip certification
* Automotive air conditioning license
