Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Joinery Workshop Foreman/Cad Drawer to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong background in joinery, cabinet making, or shopfitting and possess excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing CAD programs, producing accurate cutting lists, material schedules, and workshop drawings. They will also plan and schedule workshop workloads to meet project deadlines, allocate tasks, set production targets, and monitor team performance. Additionally, they will troubleshoot delays and coordinate with project teams on deliveries.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a trade qualification in Carpentry or Joinery, proven supervisory experience in joinery, cabinet making, or shopfitting, and a minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience. You should also have strong knowledge of joinery construction, materials, and CNC machinery, as well as the ability to read and interpret detailed drawings.
