Your new role
Fleet and Facilities are seeking an experienced labourer with knowledge of the maintenance and installation of playground equipment to join their team on a permanent full time basis.
In this role you will be responsible for the maintenance and safety of Council's playground assets across open spaces. Working as park of a multi-disciplined team, you will carry out playground installatilon, maintenance and inspection activities in line with asset management plans and Australian Standards.
The role also includes general labouring duties such as waste removal and basic grounds maintenance, identifying and reporting defects, damage or safety risks, and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently in an outdoor environment.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

Application Criteria
* Possess or be willing to undergo Level 1 or Level 2 Playground Inspection qualification and Commercial Operator's Licence (A.C.D.C) and possess a Construction Industry Induction (White Card) and MR Driver Licence.
* Working knowledge of small machines and tools including maintenance and servicing requirements.
* Experience and knowledge of activities involved in the maintenance and installation of playground equipment.
